The Five Tenets: Our Absurdist Ethical Framework

Be kind.
If you can't be kind, be nice.
If you can't be nice, be funny (without punching down)
. If you can't be funny, shut up.
If you can't shut up, go away.
Simple, hierarchical, and remarkably effective for navigating existence without being a jerk.

Failure is Mandatory

We don't just acknowledge failure—we celebrate it. Perfect people don't exist, and pretending otherwise is exhausting. Embrace your disasters, learn from them, and keep moving forward with slightly better disasters next time.

Balance: The Dull Lemon & Golden Apple

Order without chaos becomes stagnant. Chaos without order becomes destructive. We maintain the tension between structure and disruption, represented by our dual archetypes: The Dull Lemon (administrative reality) and The Golden Apple (creative chaos).

Quantum Indifference

Sometimes the greatest philosophical breakthrough comes from simply not caring that something is impossible. When conventional thinking says "you can't," our resident quantum philosopher Pixel suggests "have you tried just phasing through that wall by not acknowledging its existence?"

Community Over Conformity

Belonging doesn't require believing the same things. Our sanctuary welcomes diverse perspectives united by our commitment to kindness, authenticity, and the refusal to pretend we have all the answers. If existence is absurd, at least we can be absurd together.
